It has been about a month since Provost Stephen Director announced that he would be leaving Drexel to head to our co-op brethren of the north, Northeastern University. The last time Drexel had to search for a new provost, it took a committee of administrators, faculty and students 18 months to find and decide on Director.

Max Brindle, a freshman in the LeBow College of business and a member of Drexel's lacrosse team, died the morning of June 18 after a bicycling accident in his hometown, Wayne, Pa.

Brindle, 20, was riding his bicycle when it crashed into the back of a car, according to the Daily News.

A casual passerby may have been confused if he witnessed the baseball game at Meiklejohn Stadium on Friday.

Both teams wore jerseys identifying themselves as Penn and none of the athletes looked quite old enough to go to the school. And that's beside the fact that the only colleges still playing NCAA baseball at the time were the national tournament semifinalists.
